Can I edit my comments after posting?

You can edit a comment you left, but only before it has received any reactions, votes or replies.

You can make edits to your comment after posting, before a comment has received any reactions or replies. Once a comment has garnered reactions or a reply, there is no option to edit it - Insticator Commenting employs this limitation in order to help make comments less susceptible to toxic behavior or spam abuse.

1. If your comment does not yet have any reactions or votes, you will be able to edit it by clicking on the three little dots that appear on the right-hand side of the Commenting Unit next to your comment:

2. When editing is still enabled for your comment, you will see the "Edit" option displayed in the pop-up menu:

3. Clicking on "Edit" will open up a text box for your comment, allowing you to make changes or corrections to your original comment. Once done, click on "Save" to update your changes:

4. If your comment already has reactions, votes or replies, you will not see the "Edit" option displayed in the pop-up menu:
