What could be causing issues with posting comments or using certain features on Insticator Commenting Unit?

If you're having trouble commenting or can't see the commenting unit on the website, don't worry - we've got some troubleshooting steps that should help.

First off, if you can't comment or some features are not working for you, it might be a browser issue. Try clearing your browser's cache, which will clear out any stored website data that might be causing problems. Here are some instructions for clearing your cache in different browsers:

Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner, then click "Settings."
  2. Scroll down and click "Privacy and security," then click "Clear browsing data."
  3. Choose a time range (like "All time"), check the box next to "Cached images and files," and click "Clear data."

Safari:

  1. Click "Safari" in the top-left corner, then click "Preferences."
  2. Click the "Privacy" tab, then click "Manage Website Data."
  3. Click "Remove All" to clear your cache.

Edge:

  1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner, then click "Settings."
  2. Scroll down and click "Privacy, search, and services," then click "Choose what to clear."
  3. Check the box next to "Cached data and files," then click "Clear now."

Firefox:

  1. Click the three lines in the top-right corner, then click "Options."
  2. Click "Privacy & Security" on the left, then scroll down to the "Cookies and Site Data" section.
  3. Click "Clear Data," check the box next to "Cached Web Content," and click "Clear."

If you're not seeing the commenting unit on our website, it could be because of a browser extension or ad blocker. Try disabling any extensions or ad blockers to see if that fixes the issue.

Finally, if some commenting features aren't working properly, it could be because of your browser's cookie settings. You'll need to enable third-party cookies to use all of our commenting features. Here's how to do it in different browsers:

Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner, then click "Settings."
  2. Scroll down and click "Privacy and security," then click "Cookies and other site data."
  3. Make sure "Allow all cookies" is selected, or "Block third-party cookies in Incognito" if you prefer.
Safari:
  1. Click "Safari" in the top-left corner, then click "Preferences."
  2. Click the "Privacy" tab, then make sure "Always allow" or "Allow from websites I visit" is selected.

Edge:

  1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner, then click "Settings."
  2. Scroll down and click "Privacy, search, and services," then click "Cookies and site permissions."
  3. Make sure "Allow all cookies" or "Block third-party cookies" (if you prefer) is selected.

Firefox:

  1. Click the three lines in the top-right corner, then click "Options."
  2. Click "Privacy & Security" on the left, then scroll down to the "Cookies and Site Data" section.
